The "Hideaway" project consists of a short film, teaching guide, interactive activities and website.

 

Young students become engaged in the "Hideaway" story, and this first look at the Holocaust because it brings to light issues they're already facing in their daily lives:

Fairness, Bravery, Integrity and Individual Identity.

 

We encourage exploration into these themes through our many

interactive activities:

 

• Watch the film. Discuss and share with others.
• Download the Learning Guide.
• Email a Holocaust survivor and former hidden child.
• Draw pictures and share them here.
• Read poetry and short stories by a young Holocaust survivor.
